Homemade Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups solid-pack pumpkin
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1 2/3 cups evaporated milk
- 2-3 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip for topping.
Instructions
- Heat over to 425 degrees.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs using a hand mixer. Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Pour into the unbacked pie shell.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then without opening the oven, reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for an additional 40-45 minutes or until the center is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.
- Serve with whipped cream.
